A retired scientist and his aged spouse have been held hostage at gunpoint of their home and robbed off money and jewelry price about Rs 2 crore in Rohini’s Prashant Vihar space, police stated on Saturday.

The incident came about in F Block of Prashant Vihar the place Shibu Singh lives along with his spouse Nirmala of their home.

On Friday afternoon, when the aged couple was current of their home, two males entered posing themselves as courier boys.

After getting into inside the home, they held Shibu and his spouse Nirmala hostage on gunpoint, a police officer stated.
