Days earlier than the election, DOJ continues to prosecute new Jan. 6 instances

Standing inside a sparsely crammed federal courtroom in Washington yesterday afternoon, one other Trump supporter who dedicated crimes on Jan. 6, 2021, as a result of he believed the then-president’s election lies was sentenced to jail for collaborating in what his sentencing decide described as “a direct assault on the nation’s democracy.”
