A Trinamool councillor survived a homicide try because the shooter’s gun malfunctioned in Kolkata’s Kasba space final night time, confirmed visuals. Dramatic visuals of the homicide try had been caught on the CCTV digital camera put in in entrance of the Trinamool chief’s home.

Sushanta Ghosh, councillor of Ward 108 of the Kolkata Municipal Corporation, was sitting in entrance of his home when the 2 shooters arrived on a scooter. One of them took out his gun and tried to shoot him twice. But the gun did not work. No bullets had been launched.

Sensing that the shooter was in a spot, Mr Ghosh charged at him. He tried to flee on his affiliate’s scooter, however slipped and an on-foot chase ensued. He was finally caught and thrashed, earlier than being requested to admit on digital camera who had employed him.

The shooters had been employed from Bihar to kill the councillor, mentioned police sources, suspecting native rivalries because the motive behind the assault.
