A female student of Rice University was found dead on Monday in her dorm room officials reported, “Andrea Rodriguez Avila” from Maryland, was shot dead in her dorm. The man who was found self-inflicted gunshot wound.
The officials were informed after the family members didn’t hear from Avila on phone, they immediately called the authorities and requested them to check on this matter.
The officials went on to investigate the class fellow and found that Avila never attended the class on Monday, later, the school authority person found her dead in her dorm room
An inside officials said that, this is a case of relationship, they also stated that the shooter was not from Rice but from Florida, he was in a relationship and was accompanied by Avila to the dorm room
The investigation team has also revealed that they found a note which clearly explained that they were having disturbed dating relationship which caused this incident to happen
The identity of the shooter has not yet confirmed, the investigation is still going on to find the culprit behind this heinous act of crime.
