Now Paralympics games stage has started, on 28 August 2024 until 8 Sept after the pandemic, in Paris with a grand opening ceremony in the heart of France capital, the Indian squad is eyeing a minimum of 10 medals, says Satyanarayana, the head coach of India’s Para-athletics team, who is confident in their preparation and determination. According to sources, the training has been intense and the athletic have shown incredible dedication.
Most of the athletic have already arrived in Paris to get used to the conditions and keep up their intense training. The coach added, he can see the hunger in the team and aiming to do better their performances from the last edition. All focus will be to bag at least 5 Gold medal this time.
We are keeping a eye on the performance of athletic and will take necessary measures to encourage to keep the momentum going in our way.
With the Paris Paralympics starting on Wednesday, the Para-athletics events will be held from August 30 to September 8 at the iconic Stade de France.
In the past, India has won 18 medals in the Paralympics including four gold, nine silver and five bronze. The Indian para-athletes bagged one gold, five silver and two bronze medals in Tokyo three years back. The nation is showing great support on our athlete from all over the country.
