At a Georgia rally on Tuesday, September 24, former US President Donald Trump quipped that he sleeps and kisses the notorious immigration chart that “saved his life” from Pennsylvania assassination makes an attempt.
Speaking to his supporters, Trump expressed, “I’ve a chart that is my all-time favourite! I like tha— is it round? … is it round?” Trump requested as he turned away from the rostrum, briefly wandering offstage as if looking for it. He then jokingly pretended to hug the air earlier than returning to the rostrum, saying, “I adore it! I sleep with that chart each evening. I kiss it. I adore it, as a result of that chart saved my life.”
Trump’s reference to the chart alluding the rally in Pennsylvania on July 13, when a 20-year-old named Thomas Matthew Crooks fired on the former president. Trump defined that his fast look towards the immigration chart saved him from what may have been a deadly incident.
