Joe Biden broke his silence on Kamala Harris’ electoral loss in 2024. In a press release shared on X hours after Donald Trump’s victory, Biden wrote, “What America noticed as we speak was the Kamala Harris I do know and deeply admire.”

Calling Harris a “great accomplice and public servant stuffed with integrity, braveness, and character,” Biden wrote, “Under extraordinary circumstances, she stepped up and led a historic marketing campaign that embodied what’s doable when guided by a powerful ethical compass and a transparent imaginative and prescient for a nation that’s extra free, extra simply, and stuffed with extra alternatives for all Americans. As I’ve mentioned earlier than, choosing Kamala was the very first choice I made once I turned the nominee for president in 2020. It was one of the best choice I made. Her story represents one of the best of America’s story. And as she made clear as we speak, I’ve little question that she’ll proceed writing that story.”
