The offenders entered a farm constructing and and “made off with a black Izuzu pickup and a pink quad bike” earlier than heading towards a close-by city, police mentioned.
“No arrests have been made at this stage and an investigation is ongoing,” the assertion added.
The Sun newspaper first reported the information of the housebreaking on Sunday.
William, Kate and their three kids reside at close by Adelaide Cottage in Windsor. King Charles III and Queen Camilla’s major residence is Clarence House in London, near the monarch’s official residence of Buckingham Palace.
Neither Buckingham Palace or Kensington Palace instantly responded to a request for remark from NBC News.
This will not be the primary safety breach in Windsor in recent times.
On Christmas Day in 2021, a person armed with a crossbow climbed a fence at Windsor Castle, and claimed he needed to kill Queen Elizabeth II who was staying on the citadel on the time.
The man was handed a nine-year jail sentence for treason, possession of an offensive weapon, and making threats to kill.
