Paras Mani Singh, a Toto driver from Muzaffarpur, Bihar, has achieved something incredible. While driving his Toto, he made it to the hot seat of KBC and became a lakhpati (millionaire). He is now an inspiration for those who believe in hard work and perseverance. His family is overjoyed by his success.
For more than 20 years, Paras Mani Singh had been trying to reach KBC, and now, his efforts have paid off. He believes that the number 24 is his lucky charm. Paras Mani Singh shared that he has been tirelessly trying to get on KBC since 2003. Though he received calls from KBC several times, he was never selected—until now. Finally, he won ₹12.5 lakhs, bringing immense happiness to his family.
The COVID-19 pandemic brought great hardship to Paras Mani Singh. From 2019 to 2021, the financial crisis hit him hard, forcing him to close his shop. With the help of his family, he bought a Toto and started earning around ₹500 to ₹700 daily, which supported his family. During this tough time, he kept trying to get on KBC, and his persistence finally paid off when he won ₹12.5 lakhs. He had to quit the game after being unable to answer one of the questions.
Paras Mani Singh also shared that he loved writing songs during his college days. He wrote several songs, one of which he shared on KBC, moving Amitabh Bachchan deeply. Amitabh Bachchan was so touched by his story that he promised to cover Paras Mani’s medical expenses. Paras Mani’s treatment will be conducted at Lilavati Hospital in Mumbai, funded by Amitabh Bachchan.
