Gautam Adani On 70-Hour Work Week Debate

Weighing in on the work-life stability debate, Adani Group chairman Gautam Adani mentioned the stability is felt when one does issues they like doing. He added that life turns into easy when one accepts the truth that they’re mortal.

In a dialog with information company IANS, Mr Adani mentioned, “Your work-life stability shouldn’t be imposed on me, and my work-life stability should not be imposed on you. Mr Adani added that the essence of work-life stability lies in a single’s personal happiness and that of family members.

His remark comes amid an ongoing debate sparked by Infosys founder NR Narayana Murthy pitch for a 70-hour work week to allow India to compete with superior economies.
