The House Ethics Committee has voted to publicly launch a report detailing the findings of an investigation into former Rep. Matt Gaetz, R-Fla., two sources acquainted with the matter advised NBC News.
Gaetz resigned from the House final month after President-elect Donald Trump stated he supposed to appoint Gaetz to be the following U.S. Attorney General.
The committee’s yearslong investigation included wanting into allegations of sexual misconduct and illicit drug use towards Gaetz.
Gaetz withdrew his identify from consideration for the place simply days after Trump’s announcement, after particulars emerged publicly concerning the testimony of girls who spoke to the Ethics committee. He has denied any wrongdoing.
