A lady, described by the police as “looteri Dulhan” or looting bride, has been arrested over a decade after she married a sequence of males and picked up a complete of Rs 1.25 crore from them within the title of settlement.

Seema, aka Nikki, a resident of Uttarakhand, first married a businessman from Agra in 2013. Some time later, she filed a case towards the person’s household and acquired Rs 75 lakh as a part of a compromise.

In 2017, Seema married a software program engineer from Gurugram and later took Rs 10 lakh from the person as settlement after parting methods with him.

She then went on to marry a Jaipur-based businessman in 2023, however quickly fled his house with jewelry and money price Rs 36 lakh. After the household filed a case, Jaipur Police arrested Seema.

Police investigation revealed that Seema seemed for her victims on matrimonial websites, often settling for males who had been both divorced or had misplaced their wives. By marrying in several states, she collected a complete of Rs 1.25 crore as settlement in varied instances.
