Kremlin Denies Putin, Trump Spoke Over Phone

Moscow, Russia:

The Kremlin on Monday denied a US media report that Russian President Vladimir Putin and US president-elect Donald Trump had spoken on the telephone final week concerning the Ukraine battle.

The Washington Post reported Sunday that Trump talked by telephone on Thursday with Putin, telling him to not inflame the battle.

Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov advised journalists that the Washington Post report was “merely false data”, denying any telephone name occurred.

The Post report mentioned that Trump within the name reminded Putin of Washington’s sizeable army foothold in Europe.

Several folks talking to the US paper mentioned Trump had expressed the need for extra conversations on “the decision of Ukraine’s battle quickly”.

The Republican mentioned on the marketing campaign path that he may finish the preventing inside hours and has indicated he would discuss immediately with Putin.

Trump has not mentioned how he intends to strike a peace deal or what phrases he’s proposing.

The Russian president has demanded Ukraine withdraw from swathes of its jap and southern territory as a precondition to peace talks.

The Post reported that folks accustomed to Thursday’s name mentioned Trump had briefly raised the query of land with Putin.

Following Trump’s election, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky warned there needs to be “no concessions” to Putin.

Ceding land or giving in to any of Moscow’s different hardline calls for would solely embolden the Kremlin and result in extra aggression, he mentioned.
