A leopard entered the backyard of a home and viciously attacked a pet canine in Rajasthan’s Mount Abu on Friday.
CCTV footage reveals a black canine, which seems to be a Labrador Retriever, strolling into the backyard of the home in Sunrise Valley when the leopard jumps throughout the boundary wall of the premises and pounces on it.
The leopard may be seen biting the canine’s neck and holding on because the latter struggles to free itself. The leopard lets go of the canine and escapes when a lady – on listening to the canine howling – begins screaming and opens the home’s door and walks out. The canine then goes again inside the home together with the girl.
Sources stated the girl, who was later recognized as Mala Kumari, is the proprietor of the home, which is used as a paying visitor lodging.
