The FBI has formally declared the New Orleans New Year’s Day an ‘act of terrorism.’
Previously, FBI recognized the New Orleans truck ramming attacker as Shamsud Din Jabbar, 42, a US-born citizen from Texas. Speculations led authorities to think about that he might not have acted alone, and presumably labored with others to hold out the assault. However, the FBI has now dispelled these claims, saying that he certainly acted alone.
