The recreation started at 1:10 p.m. on Tuesday, September 24, at Comerica Park. However, per the Tigers’ X account (previously generally known as Twitter), the crew up to date followers that the sport was “estimated” to start at 2 p.m. as a substitute. Earlier that day, the crew acknowledged in a separate tweet that there was a “quick delay,” which pushed the sport time again by a half hour.

According to an announcement by the Tigers, the crew mentioned, “The resolution was made in an effort to establish the perfect alternative to play the sport.”
“Due to the uncertainty surrounding the climate forecast with a larger menace of inclement climate throughout the night, Tuesday’s begin time for the Tigers-Rays recreation at Comerica Park has been moved as much as 1:10 p.m,” the Tigers’ tweeted in its assertion.
According to Detroit News, the Rays vs. Tigers recreation was initially scheduled to begin at 6:40 p.m. and was modified to start at 1:10 p.m. The publication reported that the choice was made as a result of incoming inclement climate. Most of east coast of the United States was forewarned about climate situations from Hurricane Helene.
