Secret Service agent fired at suspects exterior of Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen's home

A Secret Service agent fired a weapon throughout a confrontation with occupants of a sedan exterior Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen’s dwelling early Tuesday.

An investigation is underway after a Secret Service agent engaged on protecting project exterior Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen’s home fired a weapon following a confrontation between the agent and occupants of a sedan, early Tuesday.

At roughly 1:30 am Tuesday, the agent assigned to Yellen’s protecting element exterior of her dwelling, noticed a sedan with a number of folks trying to open automotive doorways alongside the road, in keeping with Secret Service spokesman Anthony Guglielmi.

A confrontation between the agent and the automotive’s occupants led to gunfire. It was unclear what number of photographs had been fired by the agent. The Secret Service stated there is no such thing as a proof that anybody was harmed.

The suspects fled the scene within the sedan, and a lookout was issued to native legislation enforcement, Guglielmi stated.

The D C Metropolitan Police Department is investigating the capturing and the case can even be reviewed by the US Attorney’s Office. (AP) SCY SCY
