Stephen A. Smith, an ESPN commentator, has taken a U-turn on his views about politics, stating that he regrets supporting Kamala Harris in opposition to Donald Trump within the presidential race because of the Democrats’ “worry mongering.”
His change of coronary heart comes only a few weeks after Trump’s election victory over Harris and forward of his return to the White House.
Smith provides robust advise to Democrats
“[I’m] not interested by… listening to a bunch of fearmongering to inform us who we should not vote for,” Smith stated on Fox News’ “Life, LIberty & Levin”.
“Why do not you give you a plan that tells us why we must always vote for you?” he added.
The Democratic Party has been taking part in the blame recreation since President-elect Trump’s historic victory in November, with claims circulating relating to who’s accountable for Harris’ defeat.
Some have faulted Harris, whereas others have slammed Biden for his dismal help ranking and unsuccessful reelection marketing campaign.
In the final weeks of his presidency, Biden has been beneath hearth, notably for his transfer to pardon his son Hunter.

Smith blasts Biden for pardoning his son Hunter
Blasting Biden for pardoning his son, Smith stated, “I do not wish to hear about, ‘Oh we’re in regards to the legislation. Nobody’s above the legislation. Nobody’s above the legislation.’ But you then exit, and also you pardon your son, and also you attempt to blame all people else for it.”
Biden granted him a broad pardon on December 1 after Hunter repeatedly declared on file that he wouldn’t forgive him if a jury discovered his son responsible.
However, Smith’s dissatisfaction with the Democratic Party goes past Biden’s contentious pardon. The ESPN host repeated Vermont Senator Bernie Sanders’ criticism of the celebration’s platform and its priorities.
“I do not wish to hear about defund the police. I do not wish to hear about, what? There needs to be open borders. I do not wish to hear these things. And I do not suppose a lot of the American folks wish to hear that,” he concluded.
