The leopard awakened, roared, and attacked the group of forest division staff.
Bijnor:
Three forest division officers had been injured after they had been attacked by a leopard whereas they had been placing the trapped large cat in a cage in Uttar Pradesh’s Bijnor district, officers stated on Saturday.
The incident befell in a forest close to Dharmanagri when the officers managed to lure the leopard.
A video reveals three forest division officers carrying the leopard to a cage saved in a truck. It seems that the officers subdued the leopard with sticks they usually appeared to tie its limbs.
While two officers might be seen holding the leopard’s paws, one other, carrying a helmet, might be seen holding the large cat close to its head.
As they approached the cage, the officers put the large cat down.
However, to their shock, the leopard awakened, roared, and attacked the group of forest division staff.
Soon after, the officers managed to lure the leopard once more and put it into the cage.
Three staff have been injured within the incident and are being handled, officers stated.
